Kristie — Yes, we are happy with the heat pump particularly because it allowed us to drastically reduce our carbon emissions. This year has been a real test — the coldest since we made the switch from gas, with temperatures in January consistently below -20 C. But, this simply means that we have relied more heavily on the electric resistance heat that was installed as backup to the heat pump.
